Hi Mum!
Guess what? I (write) this postcard from a tiny cafรฉ in Banff right now, and I can hardly believe how beautiful this place is! I (be) here for two days already, and I (arrive) yesterday morning after a very long bus ride. This town really (be) one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen.
When we got off the bus, it (snow) lightly, and everyone around me (take) photos immediately. Lake Louise, which (lie) close to here, (make) this whole area famous around the world.
Yesterday, we (do) a short hike near Tunnel Mountain. We (see) a group of elk right next to the trail! I (not / forget) to bring my camera, so I got some amazing pictures. Mount Rundle, which you can see from almost everywhere in town, is one of the (tall) peaks in the area โ at least it looks like that from down here!
Tomorrow, if the weather stays good, I (go) on a longer hike to a glacier. I have heard the view up there is supposed to be really (amaze).
But first all, I wanted to send you this postcard before I forget!
Miss you lots!
