Work with a partner. Look at this tourist, who is about to travel around Australia — and decide together what he actually needs.

Look closely at the picture with your partner. Talk in English about:
- What should he take with him — and why is it useful in Australia?
- What should he leave at home — what's completely unnecessary?
- What is he missing — what should he pack that isn't in the picture?
Explain your reasons to each other. Try to use full sentences, not just single words.

Use what you already know about Australia to explain your decisions. These questions might help:
- Which dangerous animals might he meet on his trip?
- What is "the outback", and why is it risky to be unprepared there?
- When is summer in Australia? (Remember: it's the opposite of Europe!)
- How hot can it get, and why does that matter for what he packs?
