π¬ The Future Agency Ad Spot
One last job for your agency: sell the real Australia in 30 seconds.
The brief
If you've completed the Whose Australia? mission, you're still working as the same intercultural future agency β this is your last deliverable. If you haven't done the mission, no problem: your agency's job is simply to show the world a real, honest picture of Australia, not the postcard version.
Your task: write the storyboard and script for a 30-second ad spot that could actually run β instead of another beach commercial. It has three beats, and each one has a job to do.
ποΈ Scene 1 (0β10s) β The clichΓ©
Open with exactly what everyone expects β the postcard clichΓ© (beaches, koalas, "endless sunshine"). Then break it: a sound, a cut, a voiceover that undercuts the image.
What do we SEE?
What do we HEAR (voiceover, music, sound effects)?
ποΈ Scene 2 (10β20s) β The real Australia
Show something true instead β pull a real fact from your mission research (history, the Outback, multicultural cities, or the climate future). This is the moment your ad actually says something.
What do we SEE?
What do we HEAR β and which real fact from your research does it use?
ποΈ Scene 3 (20β30s) β The pitch
Land on your agency's slogan β one short, memorable line that sums up the real Australia. If your team already wrote a slogan in Mission D, you can reuse or improve it here.
What do we SEE?
Your slogan (spoken and/or on screen):
Make it real
You can't submit an actual video here β if your class films it, that happens separately. This is just the planning.
If you actually filmed this, what would you need β locations, props, actors, music? Note your plan.
Submit your storyboard
Enter your name and class, then submit.
Cut!
Your storyboard is saved. If your teacher wants to actually film these, this is exactly the plan you'll need.
